IPO GMP समझने से पहले जानते हैं कि IPO क्या होता है?
IPO का मतलब है Initial Public Offering, यह वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें कोई कंपनी अपने शेयर पहली बार सार्वजनिक (Public) निवेशकों को बेचती है। IPO कंपनियों के लिए पूंजी जुटाने का एक तरीका है और उन्हें स्टॉक एक्सचेंज में सूचीबद्ध (Listed) होने का मौका देता है।
SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद कोई कंपनी अपने विकास या विस्तार के लिए IPO के माध्यम से अपनी इक्विटी (equity) का एक हिस्सा जनता को बेचने का निर्णय लेती है।शेयर मार्केट में लिस्ट होने से पहले IPO के माध्यम से शेयर की कीमत (इश्यू प्राइस) तय की जाती है। यह फिक्स्ड प्राइस या प्राइस बैंड (जैसे ₹100-₹120) के रूप में हो सकता है।
निवेशक प्राइस बैंड के अंदर बोली लगाकर शेयर खरीदने का आवेदन करते हैं।
निवेशकों को लॉट्स में शेयर आवंटित किए जाते हैं। अगर आवेदन अधिक होते हैं, तो लॉटरी के माध्यम से आवंटन किया जाता है।
IPO के बाद कंपनी के शेयर स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (जैसे BSE या NSE) में सूचीबद्ध हो जाते हैं, जहां उनके ट्रेडिंग की शुरुआत होती है।
Before understanding IPO GMP, let’s first learn what an IPO is?
IPO means Initial Public Offering, this is the process in which a company sells its shares to public investors for the first time. IPO is a way for companies to raise capital and gives them a chance to get listed on a stock exchange.
After getting approval from SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India), a company decides to sell a part of its equity to the public through IPO for its growth or expansion.
The share price (issue price) is decided through IPO before being listed in the stock market. This may be in the form of a fixed price or a price band (e.g. ₹100-₹120).
Investors apply to buy shares by placing bids within the price band.
Investors are allotted shares in lots. If applications are high, allotment is done through lottery.
After the IPO, the company's shares get listed on the stock exchange (like BSE or NSE), where their trading starts.
